Connect SQL Server TRN CDC to SMB archives through private networking

SQL Server transaction-log backup archives on SMB shares may be reachable only through a specific network host or a private connection, limiting where Reader could access them.

Artie now supports reaching an SMB archive location through a configured connect host and through PrivateLink. The Dashboard passes the selected SMB storage type and credentials into Reader configuration, and Reader lists archive files with their size and modification time while processing them.

This is for SQL Server CDC deployments whose transaction-log backups live on SMB storage behind private network access.

Why this matters

• Access SQL Server TRN archives that are not directly reachable from Reader
• Use PrivateLink for SMB-backed CDC storage where configured
• Give Reader the file details needed to process archive backups safely
