Source string lengths for new Snowflake columns
Opt in to preserve bounded string lengths from PostgreSQL and CockroachDB sources when new Snowflake columns are created.
For PostgreSQL and CockroachDB sources, you can opt in to preserve bounded string lengths when Artie creates new Snowflake columns. Existing Snowflake columns are not changed.
Why this matters
- Keep useful source schema detail in new Snowflake tables
- Adopt the option without altering current destination schemas
