Customers running Oracle with Data Guard often want to keep CDC load off the primary. Previously, Artie could only stream Oracle changes from the primary.
Artie can now stream Oracle changes from an Active Data Guard physical standby that's open read-only. Artie reads the standby's archived redo logs, never writes to the standby, and stops with an error instead of skipping changes if an archived log is missing. Standby streaming is enabled per pipeline; contact us to turn it on.
This is for data teams running Oracle with Data Guard who want to replicate without adding load to the primary.
