 ARG! Cartoon Animation Studio is a
small Colorado Springs animation studio that specializes in classic 2D character animation. Founded in 1994 by Artie Romero, ARG! produces short cartoon animation and commercials for film, TV, software and new media. The ARG! client list includes Fortune 500 companies such as Kaiser Permanente, Duracell, Safeco Insurance, Harper Collins, Snap-On Tools and PBS, but most of the studio's 600+ clients are small businesses, non-profit organizations, governments, schools and individuals. The studio is fully staffed with experienced, professional 2D and 3D animators, uses state of the art equipment and software, and offers many styles and formats of cartoon animation services. ARG! is a member in good standing of the Better Business Bureau and has excellent references.

 The
ARG! studio facility is located in north-central Colorado Springs,
Colorado. This 3-story, 1,500 square foot building is on the former
Alexander Film Co. studio property, so it has a lot of history behind
it. It has 7MB Internet
service throughout, a break room with kitchenette and a 37" HDTV with
satellite TV. The first floor features 2 seats of Autodesk Maya, 2 large
format scanners, and quad core systems, each with 2 large monitors.
The building was built in 1946 as part of Alexander Film Studios, which at
the time was the world's largest producer of theatre and TV advertising,
including animated commercials. When the building was remodeled, it was
essentially made into a new building with new windows, doors, drywall,
carpets, stucco exterior, HVAC, and wiring. It's air conditioned, the
walls are extremely thick, and the windows are double glazed, so the
building is very quiet.
